Never Let Me Go Gets 4 Blings!

Wow!

Never Let Me Go is a simple story, yet so complex. There isn’t much I can say without giving away important information about the plot.

I will say that the story of Hailsham students sounds so calm and beautiful, but quickly begins to hint that all is not quite right in this tranquil setting.

It is a beautiful story. I think I will find myself thinking of it often. A story that that at feels effortless yet intricate at once. It is told in a gentle rhythm, and it left me in a state of awe.

Also, did not know this was a movie. I’m trying to decide if I want to watch it or not.

1Q84-Really Awesome! Really Long!

1Q84

I’ve been wanted to read 1Q84 for a while, but there are so many awesome books out there that I couldn’t commit to such a long read (it is actually 3 books in one).

I put my name on the waiting list for the audio books at the library and just figured I’d see how I felt when my turn came around. I picked up the giant double pack of discs, 38 in all, on the same day that I finished listening to Fahrenheit 451. I figured I’d give it a try and just return it if it wasn’t for me. Especailly after such an awesome audio (I actually missed my turn last week because I was so into Fahrenheit 451 & I’m still getting teased about it!).

It didn’t even take a full disc to hook me! This book is amazing! I love it so much. And I’m already on the 4th cd.The story is so intriguing. Here’s what GoodReads has to say about it:
